JD showed his new method of locating red-spotted newts. His method involves laying on the ground for 5 to 6 hours with eyes closed listening for the distinctive sound of a newt stampede. The orange safety vest keeps hunters away while JD naps works.

When Mike showed-off his new herping footwear, the group broke into laughter. Mike was not amused and threatened to give the entire group a walking stick beat down.
