Campfires
All ages. Register adults and children; children must be accompanied by a registered adult. The whole family is invited to join us at the Gulf Branch fire ring for lots of old-fashioned fun. This engaging program will be filled with entertaining activities, which may include stories, special animal guests, games, songs and of course, treats like s’mores. Huntin' for Salamanders

Learn all about these slender amphibians, including how to identify them, where you can find them, and how you can preserve their habitat. We'll also go out hiking around Gulf Branch in search of the Red Backed Salamander. You'll also learn what other salamanders can be found at the Arlington Nature Centers. Herp Hike

Learn what herps (reptiles and amphibians) frequent Long Branch and who you are likely to find in your own backyard. As we hike we'll put our observation skills to the test.
